Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Help me give my class the appropriate learning environment they deserve! Our school was built over 100 years ago, and the furniture that the students use on a daily basis is not equipped to serve student learning in today's classroom. The desks and chairs that we are able to put into our classrooms are broken, uneven, and overall just not what the students deserve.

My students deserve furniture that allows them to work comfortably and be successful!

The desks that I am asking for are all the same size and suited for a first grade classroom, which my current desks are not. The chairs will be comfortable and fitted for young learners. These new desks and chairs will have all the parts necessary and will not rock or learn while students work. Thank you for supporting us!
