Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Having a comfortable attractive place to learn will make children want to come to that room daily.

My students are from a poverty stricken neighborhood in Louisiana.

My school is 90% free or reduced lunch, because the students come from poor families. My dream is to give the students something they don't have at home. A clean, comfortable and attractive place to call their own.

My Project

I am requesting a colorful area rug of the United States, classroom supply caddies and teacher organization bins. I can see the caddies on the students desk full of supplies for each student. I am also requesting the rug, so that the students can have a comfortable place to sit and read while learning about the different states in our great country.

These donations will improve student attendance and the students attitude when coming into the classroom.

The students will be eager to learn and enter the learning area daily. Making the classroom clean and attractive will invite all students!
