My Students

I have 32 wonderful students that come in every day full of life and ready to learn. We work collaboratively on many Project Based Learning Tasks using 21st-century skills. We are a 1:1 digital classroom where students are highly engaged and eager to learn. Our classroom is located in Arcadia, California.

My students love to work together and support each other.

We have started flexible seating in the classroom and the students are really enjoying it. I love hearing them talk about the things they are learning in small discussion groups and their wonderful sense of curiosity. It is a joy to work with these students every day.

My Project

Our classroom has recently started Flexible Seating. The students are allowed to pick a seat that is the most comfortable for their learning. They can change seats throughout the day. This has really helped students to stay engaged and be more productive during the school day.

There are many seating options in our classroom.

We have a high table for standing, two yoga balls, a couch, bean bag chairs, and regular desks. I have personally paid for the new additions to our classroom so far. I would really like to add 4 Hokki Stools for my students that need a bit of movement or wiggle room. There are many students that have trouble sitting still all day and would benefit from these moveable stools.
