My students absolutely love to read! They are a very diverse group and love each other. They work so well together!
My students are readers of all levels and interests.
Some students have access to many books at home and others none at all. Our classroom is where they shop for books to borrow and they couldn't be more excited when they are able to.
This group absolutely loves to work together. They enjoy working with partners reading and discussing books. They love to solve problems and collaborate together.
My Project
My students love to read. I have limited materials in my classroom that help them read comfortably. They love to cozy up and read. The more comfortable they are, they more focused they are on their reading. There are some students who need a more "uncomfortable" place to read. My students are learning to be mindful of what is best for them as a reader. The more they understand their own style, the more knowledge they can attain. Choice is something my students love the ability to have. Creating more options for my students to use to work throughout the day would be a dream!
