My classroom is filled with kindergarteners from all socioeconomic backgrounds and academic abilities. They are all so eager to learn and try new things. They love hands-on activities and working with one another. Every day, they walk through the door excited to see what they will be learning. I am so also excited for the upcoming year as I transition over to a second grade teacher!

My Project
I would love to get a few things to help create a relaxing and calm environment for my students. I need a rug for our classroom library and would like to add a floor lamp to the space. I would also like some fabric to create some curtains to hide our storage spaces.
A warm, inviting classroom is what I want my students to experience!
I am going to be implementing the Daily 5 in my new classroom and would also like to add some cushions and stools for students to use during reading time. These items will help create a positive learning environment for my students.
