My Project

Our high school has welcomed students who have traveled to us for asylum. Food and snacks should be the last things on our students' minds while they are receiving their education. Some have shared that they do not have a good meal at the shelters and temporary housing where they are staying. Our school is their home and we want to do our best to make them feel safe and provide as much as we can. Our staff has also been generous in providing out-of-pocket costs for food, clothes, jackets, and warm gear. We are asking the community to please assist us so that we can keep our students full and focused during the school day as food should be the last thing for them to worry about.
