My classroom is a place of inquiry and discovery. My children are eager learners. For most, this will be their first experience in a school setting.
My school is located in an urban area of my city.
The students come from a small portion of town, but have a wide variety of backgrounds. Their parents are excited about their first adventures out in to the big world. The students and their parents are both ready to begin learning all that they can learn!
My Project
My kids are learning about different animal life cycles! These ladybug items will help deepen my students knowledge of animal life cycles. Students will use the live ladybug larvae to watch them change and grow into adult ladybugs. The poster and model of the life cycle of a ladybug will help students identify the different stages that the ladybugs are currently in. The magnifiers will allow the students to be able to see the ladybugs up close! These items will only help to deepen the learning that is already occurring in my room. The students are intrigued and excited about the different animal life cycles we have talked about. Having these items will only make the experience more vivid for my kids.
