Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach second grade students who show up to class with a smile on their face and an appetite for learning.

My students are inquisitive, enthusiastic, and animated as they dive in to their lessons.

They love sharing their ideas and collaborating as a class to master new concepts. I am so thankful to have a wonderful group of students who enjoy learning.

My Project

Students need basic supplies such as composition books, crayons, and pencil pouches to help them be successful in school. Students use composition books in all subjects to record their learning and reference past learning. Crayons help engage students in their learning, and pencil pouches help students stay organized so that they may quickly find materials for class.

These basic supplies will help my students stay organized and focused on their learning.

With this project funded, I hope to better meet the needs of my students. They will no longer have to worry about losing small supplies, and they will have the basics needed to help them succeed in class. Any support you can give will be greatly appreciated by myself and my students.
