Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are a great group of individuals who deserve the best education I can possibly give them. They are creative, thoughtful, hard workers and a great group of learners. I want to do all that I can to provide them everything they need to learn.
These students are our future!
I don't know if there is a future president, an engineer that will make great improvements or a doctor that will find cures to change the world in our class. Everyone provides something special to our community of learners and they deserve to learn in a way that suits them best.
My Project
What would pictures be without the color that Crayola products provide? They may be great sketches and wonderfully drawn shapes but that pop of color is needed in any piece of work. My students need new supplies to help their work shine with color.
Coloring with different media provides students with many learning opportunities.
They build up their muscles in their fingers which then improves their fine motor skills. They learn how to pay attention to details and how to manipulate the media differently to get more vibrant pieces of work. When their work looks colorful they are proud of what they have done and are motivated to continue doing great work.
