Help me give my students the advantage of having useful resources to help build reading, math, and writing skills in order for them to progress and become proficient in every academic area.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
What I love about my students is their ability to take on this pandemic with perseverance, kindness, and tenacity. They come to school every day, ready to learn.
They are special to me because even with the new way of learning, with the wearing of masks and social distancing, they have adjusted well and are excited about school and learning.
We can no longer share materials or personal space and it has its challenges, especially in primary grades; however, with continuous rituals, and modeling expectations, my students are progressing in what is considered our new normal.
My Project
The materials will make a huge difference in my students' learning. Many of my students are not reading on grade-level, and as an educator, I try to find engaging and innovative resources to implement in my classroom to promote student growth.
I’ve compiled these resources and materials, hoping it may help my students become independent learners and thinkers by using the reading and math manipulatives and educational games, as well as further support my struggling readers, ESE, and ELL students.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance in helping my students reach their fullest potential, as they become life-long learners.
