Coloring in Science

My students need crayons and colored pencils to help color the parts of the human body, cell, wave, weather pattern, and energy!

My Students

My 7th grade science class is a place for exploration and discovery. The quote, "Everyone hopes to meet their favorite scientist some day, but I teach mine," is a prime example of how enthusiastic my students (scientists) are about learning as they enter my classroom!

All of my students come from different walks of life but during science, we are all exploring together!

My classroom has been created to foster community and lifelong learning for all students. Students are challenged to work together towards a common goal to complete the scientific method.

My Project

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my project. We are extremely excited to use colored pencils and crayons to support our learning of waves, energy, cells, human body, and weather. The tools will also be beneficial for the one block of social studies that I am teaching.

Coloring allows students to correctly and quickly identify specific structures of function in the science classroom.

I use coloring as a means to help with understanding. The cell organelles can be labeled using different colors. We can use colors to signify oxygenated and deoxygenated blood. We can also use colors to coordinate the different types of waves and energy.
