My students need color ink cartridges. The color ink cartridges will be used on math and reading file folder games that help my special needs students with autism achieve their academic goals.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a special education autism moderate to severe classroom. There are 8 boys in the classroom. The majority of my students are visual and tactile learners. The visual learners enjoy the multicolored file folders that are created by ink color cartridges. The hands on learners enjoy using the file folder games by using velcro playing pieces to making selections. The boys need lots of repetition and work that is appealing to them. File folder games are laminated for repetitive use.
I have incorporated beautiful and colorful file folder games in my student's math & reading curriculum.
The boys have been able to reach many of their educational goals. Most of my student's are from underprivileged families. They face economical integration challenges.
My Project
My intent is to have color ink cartridges to create colorful academic work for my students with special needs. My boys are on different levels academically; thus the need of making file folder games for each individual student's academic need. My students find it challenging to stay focused but colorful work helps them stay focused. Most of my students are non-verbal but are able to communicate their answers by using the vibrant visual cards.
These academic multicolored games lessen my student's frustration of not able to verbally communicate.
They enjoy working with the multicolored file folder games which are made using color ink cartridges. My students have fun wtih academic games and are stimulatenously learning.
My students love to play with colorful academic file folder games. They're learning while playing games. The boys need lots of repetition and work that is appealing to to them. File folders are intended to be used repetitively.
I strive to provide the maximum and effective classroom work for my students. I have found that multicolored file folder games are appealing to the boys. They are successfully meeting their academic goals. File folder games also trains them to be independent as this type of class work is meant to be done independently after repetitive exposure.
