My students need colorful pictures to help them have a more realistic learning experience. Having the Brother Inkjet Printer will allow me to create colorful life like pictures for learning.
Kindergarten is such an exciting age. My students come in at the beginning of the year with bright eyes and fear. It doesn't take long for them to settle into our community and feel at home. We want to help them love school and love to learn.
We build a community where our kids of all kinds of backgrounds feel safe and want to share as well as learn about each other and the world around them.
I have students with all skill levels in my classroom. Some are learning to read, write, and count while others are learning letter sounds and how to hold a pencil. We work together as a community to help one another reach goals on a daily basis.
My Project
Having color in your life is always better than black and white. I love creating projects for my kids but I have always felt like there was more I wish I could do for them. Having a Brother Inkjet Printer would allow me to be able to create colorful hands on activities for my kids. One thing we do in my classroom is centers, we go to smaller groups and do different literacy and math learning activities. The kids really love doing Folder games, that is games created and put together by me that helps them match letters to sounds and numerals to numbers of items they count. In the past they have all been in black and white with the Brother Inkjet Printer I will be able to create them and they will be even more engaging to the students.
Would you rather see pictures of ocean life in color or black and white?
I do several themed units throughout the year and having a Brother Inkjet Printer would allow me to print learning materials that are real life and in living color rather than plain boring black and white. Units on Bears, Butterflies, Farm Life, The Community We Live In are some examples of a few I teach. The Brother Inkjet Printer will be a blessing in my classroom for my students to have the opportunity to see things as they look in real life that they may not get a chance to see anywhere else.
