Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are from the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York City. Most of my students come from low-income families and my school is a Title I school. Many of them receive free lunches based on their socioeconomic status. They are great kids.
I am looking for outlets to help them open their own creativity and self-expression.
From the music classroom to performances, to trips, I want to help them find their own voices and help them create a better future!
My Project
These items will help special learners as well as learners of all types to create and learn music easily and beautifully. The stickers can help students find notes on instruments to get them playing music more quickly. The printer cartridges, paper, and laminating sheets will help in creating fun and interesting displays and student centered documents. The bags will help to organize and individualize things for students.
