This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Innovative, creative, and hardworking are just a few of the words I would use to describe my students. They are the reason I can't wait to get to school every day. They challenge me just as often as i challenge them.

The students come from all parts of our city and bring with them the experiences of their families, homes, neighborhoods, and the greater community.

Sometimes, these things enhance our learning and make it a richer experience for everyone. Other times this brings chaos and conflict. Whatever the students come with, we work together to be a classroom community of learners moving forward together to achieve success.

My Project

Recently, our classroom printer stopped working on us. This has had a huge impact in our classroom. With a new HP printer, we will be able to get back to business printing out resources, student work, and writing assignments.

We need a new printer to print test prep items, center materials, and student work.

This much needed necessity will allow me to print out items the students use to learn a variety of skills. Like every other teacher, I want the best for my kids. With your help and this printer and extra ink cartridges we will be back on track.
