Colorful Modified Instruction for Special Education Students
Help me give my students colorful learning manipulatives. This HP - OfficeJet Pro Wireless Inkjet Instant Ink Ready Printer, will allow instant access to color prints, which is so much more engaging than black & white copies.
Energetic, creative, loving and enthusiastic are the first words that come to mind when I think of my students. They are full of wonder and excitement. Their potential is yet to be realized. They are the reason I love my job!
Special Education students in kindergarten through 3rd grade come to my classroom for a variety of reasons.
Some need the grade level curriculum is reinforced, some need life skills or a sensory break. Everyone needs to be made to feel important, successful and loved. Together we explore the ELA and math curriculum, remediate needed skills and foster a love of learning. They amaze me everyday and teach me things I never knew I didn't know.
This HP - OfficeJet Pro Instant Ink Ready Printer will provide access to colorful materials. With this printer, ink and monthly subscription, I will be able to print fun, and engaging materials for my students.
My students thrive on hands-on learning activities that encourage multi-sensory learning.
My students need high motivation, engaging activities. In order to create this, the materials need to be as inviting as possible. I prepare thematic units, interactive exercises, student centers, and modify curriculum.
With this grant, I can make appealing centers into my students reality. It would save me from having to color everything by hand, so I could get the materials into the children's hands faster!
