My students attend a Title I school where 80% of them qualify for free or reduced-price lunches. They are energetic six and seven-year-olds who like to explore and learn new things. I want to offer my students the best whenever possible.
Having toner for our laser printer will make our "Math Centers" come alive. Toner is very expensive and without the help of a DonorChoose.org, my students will be limited to the original black and white copies. My students enjoy center time. It is important to keep them interested and focused on learning.
My students are eager learners.
Colorful games make our math skills fun to learn. This will give them to opportunity to explore and discover new math skills. Hands-on is very important at this age level.
It will be nice to make new centers for my students. Some examples are teacher number order using different activities, ten frames game, games displaying different seasons or holidays.
