My Students

I teach kindergarten in a rural area in central Maine. My class size ranges between 13 and 17 children with differing needs and backgrounds. A significant number of my students live below the poverty level.

I strive to empower my students to find success socially, emotionally, and developmentally in a learner-centered classroom.

My Project

The HP DeskJet Plus 4155 Wireless All-in-One Printer will be a tremendous asset to my classroom! I will be able to print photos of my students and the things we do in our classroom. I will also be able to print visuals and educational games and resources for centers.In order to gain independence and learn new skills, my students need colorful visuals and games in our classroom.

Visual directions and posters are important for all students' learning, and foster independence as a resource for students.

Colorful games for stations will increase student engagement in learning, which increases student success.
