Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For my students with disabilities, the key to success in the classroom lies in having appropriate adaptations, accommodations, and modifications made to the instruction and other classroom activities. One modification involves changing the way material is presented or the way that students respond to show their learning. Many of the adaptations, accommodations, and modifications need to be individualized for students, based upon their needs and their personal learning styles and interests.

The HP LaserJet Pro Color Printer will be instrumental in the creation of colorful creative small group learning centers that will provide my special needs students the opportunity to engage in unique independent and self-directed learning activities.

These learning centers will be colorfully designed to offer a variety of materials for reading and language arts to encourage my students to work independently or with other students to reinforce information learned in class. Utilization of these unique student-driven centers will enhance and strengthen new and previously learned concepts, skills, themes, and or topics covered in class.
