This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Objective:

Our project, "Colorful Compassion," aims to empower students as wellness ambassadors in our community.

Through this initiative, we seek to support those who may be feeling unwell, express gratitude to front-line workers and doctors, and create awareness about health initiatives.

In our project, "Colorful Compassion - Empowering Student Wellness Ambassadors," students will actively contribute to fostering wellness. The wellness gift bags, comprising of coloring books, crayons, and snacks, will serve as a creative and comforting gesture to members of our community in need.

Students will learn valuable skills through hands-on experiences, including assembling and donating these bags. The creation of thank you cards and banners will provide artistic expression while emphasizing the importance of gratitude. Our educational materials will serve as a platform for students to advocate for healthier living.

Through these activities, our students will make a positive impact on well-being while developing essential life skills. This project aligns with our commitment to nurturing responsible, compassionate, and informed citizens.
