Help me give my students color paper to be able to print out the materials they need to master standards. I also need laminating sheets to preserve and reuse the resources I create for them.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are always eager to learn. They enjoy learning through small group instruction. My students like to track their progress and set new goals once they have achieved previous goals. They come from a diverse community, most of which are low income house holds. Most are considered minority. They have varying degrees of learning disabilities, ranging from Attention Deficit Disorder to Autism Spectrum Disorder. They respond to a multimedia type of instruction, which is why I am looking to further differentiate the resources I provide then with.
My Project
My students benefit from resources that are interactive and differentiated. Books don’t always come equipt with them. Having those resources printed in colorful paper helps my students stay engaged and enthusiastic about our current learning topic. Colors add life to our learning. Laminating the resources allows us to use them more than once. We can use dry erase markers or simply redo the activity if needed; without having to reprint it. They also allow us to preserve completed work so that students may admire what they have achieved in the past. This helps them continue to build on their knowledge foundation to further their overall education.
