Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach in a public school on the Northside of Chicago. My students are diverse, kind, and accepting. They love learning and exploring new concepts.
My school serves predominantly minority students.
They are from several places around the world, including Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Mexico, India, Iraq, and America. I'm always looking for resources that will support the diverse learners within my class. One hundred percent of the students who attend our school receive free or reduced-price lunches.
We have a highly diverse immigrant population. Students learn a lot from each other by respecting and accepting each other's differences.
My Project
All of our students do amazing projects that require colored photographs.
This ink will allow me to be able to print their pictures in color.
I love being able to assist my students in completing these projects for my and other teachers classes. It allows them to be creative as they learn in school. Colored copies can be expensive, this will allow me to provide the seventh grade students with the tools they will need to execute interactive projects. This ink will also help me in creating some foldable for my math class as well.
