My Students

As a teacher in a title 1 school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

So many of my students come to school each day excited and eager to learn something new.

In our class there are students from many different backgrounds, and with that some students are still learning how to read, write and speak in English. Even though some face these challenges, they take pride in their efforts and are willing to challenge their minds for the sake of learning.

My Project

I am requesting an inexpensive color printer and ink to make bright and colorful copies for my English Language Learners. When my students are given a clear visual, it helps each one of them reach a new level of understanding.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

With colored copies my students will be able to focus on the academic material at hand, and not feel confused or misunderstood. Yes, color copies will help all students learning, but it will also help brighten up our classroom environment. Having a colorful and welcoming classroom is super important to students learning as well!
