My Students

My students' world is in color and their artwork should be too!

I teach art to high school and middle grades students in a small rural school district.

I have the high school students all year but my middle school students change every nine weeks. We work with what art supplies the students bring with them, usually pencils and crayons, and draw on pin-fed computer paper or copy paper.

My Project

We need watercolors, brushes, frisket, and watercolor paper. My students need varied media and the opportunity to experiment with it. Using good quality materials and tools will jump start their creativity as they interpret their world through color artwork.

You will make it possible for my students to push their artistic experiences beyond their presently limited ones.

Your help does make a difference! Watercolors and new materials will spark my students interest in art and in their creative selves.
