This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is an AVID elementary school. This means that we are heavily focused on teaching and practicing the skills of organization with our students and the importance of representation. We have many ways of doing this in first grade: holder folders for unfinished work, AVID homework folders, and a tool box in desks to keep them organized.

My students needs crayons boxes and multicultural crayons to ensure representation and organization.

Organization is an important skills to everyone; young and old. My students are responsible for their "tools," such as: pencils and crayons. Thank you for helping us be organized.
