My students need a color printer to access our online curriculum in a meaningful way.
This project expired on July 5, 2014.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
We have a classroom full of unique and charismatic 4th and 5th graders with special needs!
My students love to learn and we are lucky to have a curriculum that enables them to do so.
In our classroom we use a curriculum called Unique Learning System which my students have come to love. It includes all kinds of different reading, math, science, and functional activities made especially for students with special needs and varying abilities. Unique enables my students to access common core in way that is meaningful and functional. Unique Leaning System is on online based curriculum and while we are able to use our interactive whiteboard for some activities, there are still many that need to be printed. Having their materials printed in color will help each activity come alive for my students and ensure that they are able to fully access the materials.
Many of my students require visual aides throughout their day for academic and functional activities. Unique Learning System provides a fantastic template for a number of visuals, but they are all in color. In order for my students to fully access these materials we are asking for donations towards a color printer for our classroom to help our curriculum come alive.
This project will ensure that my students have complete access to their common core adapted curriculum and make it possible for them use the materials to the best of their ability.
