My classroom is a plethora of diversity. My students are from racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse families and communities of lower socioeconomic status. Meeting the needs of all of my students equally is what pushes me daily to do the very best with what I have and try to obtain what I don't.
Meeting needs equally means that each student gets what they need as an individual regardless of how big or how small.
My students range in age from 4 to 5 years old and they are the most loving, exciting, and eager to learn group of kids. They love to explore and they love to ask questions to learn about the world around them.
My Project
I am always looking to create a classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of my students. In order to maximize our time and learning we need a printer so we are able to print, copy and scan items quickly.
There are many challenges when you are moving from virtual, to in person, or to hybrid and being able to print in or out of school could be a great relief.
This basic printer will allow me to print, copy and scan documents, lessons and activities as well as weekly newsletters without missing a beat of classroom instruction. This printer will allow me to make the most of my classroom by creating a classroom that has the essentials! With COVID-19 so many things are uncertain, but the one thing that is certain is that we are working hard to be prepared for an amazing year of learning no matter where it is happening.
We are using online programs between the models of learning as they change. Students can access those programs at home or school and having this printer would mean they are able to print their work or creations when they are in the classroom. It would also allow me to keep in constant contact and communication with my parents by having documents prepared to send home that they may need. I would love having a copier in my classroom so I can print, copy and scan in a jiff! Thank you so much in advance for your help and support!
