This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students have access to computers, but do not have the ability to print out work in class.

We serve 1600 students close to downtown San Jose.

Our school represents the diverse population of California with about 50% of students receiving free or reduced lunch. Our student demographics include 64% Hispanic and Latino students and 20% English Language Learners.

My Project

Our students have access to computers, but currently do not have a way to print out their work. With a color printer, students will have the opportunity to create presentations, projects, and reports that they can print out to share with classmates, family and friends.

When students leave High School they will need the skills to solve problems and communicate those solutions.

Providing a printer will help students develop communication skills vital to their future success.
