This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a Title I, urban school located in a high poverty area.

My Kindergarten students are naturally curious and are very eager to learn through play and new hands-on experiences.

My students have limited access to books, technology, and other resources at home. They love to play in learning centers with their peers and make many new connections every day through active play. I have a great group of students who love to learn about the world around them.

My Project

By having access to a color printer, I will be able to print learning centers and games that engage the students and make learning visually appealing! Buying or making centers and teacher-assisted games is easy, but everything just looks so much better in color! By organizing all of the centers and games into plastic bins, students will be able to use these materials during class, and can use them on their own during morning work or indoor recess to help increase their learning. This printer will be used in so many ways.
