My Students

My students have all been arrested. We teach them inside of juvenile hall. They face many obstacles in their lives. Many are attending school for the first time after a lengthy absence.

My students are doing great work while in school.

We recently had their work displayed around the classroom. This was inspirational to many of our students. They were so proud to see the color copies of their work we displayed. Many of them are discovering that education can free them from the mistakes they have made in the past.

My Project

I am requesting a magenta printer cartridge to refuel our printer. We have been heavily using the printer to display student work. Students have been using the printer for their college applications. Finally, students want to be able to share their work with their families through the mail.

It is very important that our students develop pride in their work.

We want to show them that they can succeed. They are capable of making real, significant change in their lives. We are helping many of these students submit college applications. We want to show them that there is a different path they can take than life on the streets. Your donation would really mean so much to our students who have so little.
