Help me give my students the basics for coloring and drawing in art class: Mr. Sketch markers, Crayola construction paper crayons, Kwik Stix solid tempera paint, and chalk pastels.

My Project

I teach art to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. My students love creating artwork, which helps to brighten their lives and our school.

Pablo Picasso's quote, "Everything you can imagine is real", is a fantastic motto for my students.

I hope my students leave my art room everyday knowing that their creativity is endless.

My students would love to have new construction paper crayons, Mr. Sketch markers, Kwik Stix solid tempera paint, chalk pastels and Pacon tissue paper to jump start their drawing projects. Construction paper crayons are amazing because they stay true to color and show up brightly when coloring on construction paper. Mr. Sketch markers and Kwik Stix solid tempera paint will help my students easily create big, bold lines and swatches of color in their artwork. Chalk pastels help my students easily create shadows and learn how to create different values of color in their artworks. Pacon tissue paper will help my students explore color and create bright backgrounds on which to draw and paint.
