My students love to learn and they each have a story to tell. They come from a variety of diverse backgrounds and cultures. 85% of my students are English Language Learners. My school is a Title 1 school in a large urban school district. 100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. We are working hard to learn how to speak, read and write in English while having fun.
I love to use pictures to initiate conversations, build background knowledge and increase vocabulary.
A picture is worth a thousand words! I intend to use my HP color printer to print pictures to initiate conversations which will allow my students to practice their English language skills. I use pictures and photos to help my students build background knowledge and increase their vocabulary. I will also be able to print learning materials such as phonics games and leveled reading books for my guided reading groups.
Learning is more fun when it is in color!
The Sprocket Photo Printer will be a great tool to print photos for classroom labels, anchor charts, as well as student labels for book bins and cubbies. We could also use it to create books, adding photos that we print.
