Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a second grade ESL teacher in a Dual Language program. This school year, my content area is English and Math. Most of my students have been learning English and Spanish since pre-kindergarten! Many of my students' native language is Spanish.
My students work diligently every day to learn to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish.
I would like to provide a print-rich environment for my ESL students. High Frequency Words, labels, leveled books, vocabulary words and pictures should be colorfully printed.
My Project
Last school year, I was generously funded with color ink cartridges for our class printer! I was able to provide color prints for my students and second grade team members all year!
It will be to awesome to provide a colorful world for my ESL student materials, class labels, homework, parent notes, certificates, leveled books, lesson plans, center activities, picture vocabulary words!
My students love to receive books at their reading level in COLOR. Color ink cartridges allow me to print everything for my students in vibrant color!
Unfortunately, by the end of the school year, I had used both sets of color ink cartridges. These cartridges are necessary, but expensive for my budget. Please, help keep my classroom filled with beautiful color!
