My Students

In our 4th grade family, we have some of the most amazing students. With the world telling them they can't, we believe they can! We have spent years with these students developing an active, safe, and respectful classroom. The students go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed and to show each other that they are essential. The feeling is a valuable social and emotional lesson for the students in our family. We have 60% of our students who are on free and reduced lunch. Several students receive backpack care packages. This is to ensure that they have meals at home.

Family-That's how we describe our 4th Graders!

Our classroom is in need of a color printer and ink. Budget cuts have eliminated all color printers at our school. Students are tasked with creating visual boards for several projects. This printer and ink my students would be able to bring these projects to life with the ability to print out their pictures on a color copier. Thank you for your time and consideration.

My Project

Listed below are some of the ways my students will use the color printer to impact the world around them. We will use the printer for project-based learning presentations, community outreach to nursing homes, working with their buddy classroom of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders, cards and notes to our troops, and creating color-rich projects. A color printer will enrich their learning experience while giving to others in our community and around the world.

These are a few of the things that students will use the color printer in our classroom.
