My Students

I teach in a title one school, meaning several of my students come from low income homes. My students come to school each day ready to learn with a growth mindset. Despite the challenges they face at home. In my classroom we learn that it's okay to mistakes but it is not okay to give up. My students are wonderful examples of making the best of everyday. They are kind, respectful, and they truly want to help everyone around them. I have the best job in the world!

My Project

A color printer and doodle boards have the ability to improve engagement throughout my third grade classroom. A color printer will allow me to present materials to my students in a more colorful and engaging manner. And, doodle boards will cut back our waste of "scratch paper."

My hope is to ignite excitement through this project.

My students are very visual and they like to see their work written out. With the help of doodle boards, we will be able to see our learning process. A color printer and doodle boards will be very beneficial in a classroom that is just starting out. These tools will last for years and be appreciated by many.
