This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In a day and age with fantastic technology my students only have a black and white printer.
My students are super enthusiastic when given a chance to go beyond paper and pencil activities.
Our school however is low on funding, and our parents also have very limited resources, so I would like to give my students more inspiration with access to items most people get to use in this decade.
My Project
A color printer would allow for endless creative and scientific learning opportunities. I could envision my students using the printer to enhance their report writing in both science and social studies, and to also inspire them to get to the publishing phase in their writing.
Black and white copies are just dull.
My students experience at school would be greatly enhanced with the addition of a colored printer in our classroom. What they see on the Internet could actually be printed out exactly how it looks on screen, allowing us to decorate our classroom with color.
