Color Me Visually!

My students need visuals in order to help them process their schedules and their assignments. A color printer will help us be able to print out task cards, schedules, and other projects in color.

My Students

My students come from a small rural community made up of low income or working class families. All students in our district receive a free breakfast and lunch.

Train up a child in the way he should go;

even when he is old he will not depart from it.

My students rely on me to provide them all the tools they need in order to be successful outside of my classroom. Having access to the tools necessary for their success is one of my top priorities.

My Project

Students within special education respond best when their materials are colored and visually appealing. Currently, anything we print is in black and white. This color printer will allow us to print everything we need to help our visual learners. We will now be allowed to print their schedule cards in color.

The color helps them understand better what they need to do next when looking at their visual schedule.

This color printer will drastically change how we prepare to meet the needs of all of our students. The extra ink will allow us to continue printing without the interruption of waiting on more ink to arrive.
