My classroom is filled with 26 energetic little learners.
They range in experience and socioeconomic backgrounds but all thrive in a positive learning environment. Heaven forbid I ask my brood of kinder friends to sit still all the live long day! What better way to harness that highly concentrated five year old energy than with the arts?!
Art is one area that sees beyond any differences my learners might have otherwise. There is no right and wrong, there is only success. These supplies will not only unify my class but allow each student to be an individual.
My Project
My little kinder friends will be able to use the paper, pencils, glitter, and supportive art materials throughout the year to let their little minds explore! We will work whole group and individual in art every day this year in some form or another, and these supplies are so beneficial to each of our kindergarten loves.
Through the use of art, each child finds success.
These supplies will add color to our classroom and pep to each of our little learners' steps. When we reflect on our own kindergarten experience, we would be hard pressed not to recall the magic of art time. There is something so powerful in creating--even if it is with paper and glue. By providing this paper, glue, and supportive art supplies, my students will still be supported in this area.
