This school year my student population is quite diverse in learning styles. For example, some of my students appear to be visual learners while others are kinetics learners and need to move around in order to be successful at classroom tasks and assignments.
I want to be able to meet the needs of every student in my class.
Last year I had the opportunity to observe my upcoming class and discovered that they are an energetic group. I am looking to provide my students with a safe and comfortable learning environment filled with creative and meaningful experiences that will inspire all learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.
For this project I thought it necessary to have a nice place for students to relax and feel comfortable while independently reading. This Hand Tufted Rug Surya Cosmopolitan will create an inviting space that will encourage students to read. Plastic Locking Lid containers will provide ample space to store reading materials and keeping the space well organized.
In addition this area allows my students flexible seating so that the students can take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them.
I want to create a space where students can feel comfortable during independent work times as they complete task that are assigned to them.
In addition to workstation storage, each student will have their very own storage container for personal supplies and additional storage for completed assignments.
