Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach in a public school on the Northside of Chicago. My students are diverse, kind, and accepting. They love learning and exploring new concepts.
My school serves predominantly minority students.
They are from several places around the world, including Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Mexico, India, Iraq, and America. I'm always looking for resources that will support the diverse learners within my class. One hundred percent of the students who attend our school receive free or reduced-price lunches.
We have a highly diverse immigrant population. Students learn a lot from each other by respecting and accepting each other's differences.
My Project
The printer I am requesting already has an extraordinary purpose. I just need your help in obtaining it! In our science and math classes, we try to create some cool interactive notebooks.
But we don't have the means to make colored copies.
Everything is black and white and boring. Please help me provide my students with the pop of color they need to really enjoy their learning. This printer will allow me to print colored interactive foldable for them to put into their interactive notebooks. This opportunity will allow for easier studying to be done for tests and quizzes.
