My 6th grade science and social studies students are eager to create and share. In our class, they are also learning crucial technology skills that will benefit them in the coming years.
We do not live in black in white.
Real life is in color. We create unique and powerful projects to display and present in both science and social studies. These projects need color. They need to be brought to life.
My students are from a rural town with majority low-socioeconomic backgrounds but deserve to receive a an education that fosters the ability to make a future with no boundaries.
My Project
My students are in need of color printing options. We are learning developmentally appropriate technology skills in science and social studies. We are learning to create and share ideas through projects, presentations, and displays. We learn to graph motion using excel. We learn to make trifold brochures when studying Europe. We create and present science projects on science boards.
Color is better.
They need color in their projects. We live in color. Research proves students learn better in color. We, as adults, prefer color to black and white.
Color printing options will make our projects more exciting and memorable for the author and the audience. Color also gives the ability to individualize a project and shows greater detail in photos.
