Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district where my students are determined to not let their learning stop. Every year my students work to their highest level of capacity. They want to learn, want to help others, and want to do their very best. They set their goals, have high expectations, and follow their MAPS (school guidelines and rules). My students are smart, young individuals who have a goal in mind and take the steps necessary to achieve their goals!
My Project
Our class is in need of replacement color Epson/HP ink cartridges to continue our amazing projects in class. We use the color ink to create brag tags for the entire school. A student gets a brag tag for excelling in academics, special projects, citizenship, etc. The students love the brag tags and work very hard to collect them all. We also use our color printer for graphing, newsletters, biography projects and special birthday pictures.
Laminating makes everything last so much longer.
It is so important to reuse what you already worked hard on creating. Laminating the materials for student use helps keep them durable and longer. The laminating pouches will help us achieve this. Students are able to manipulate them and use them over and over again. It is very beneficial.
