Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Most of my students are ELL learners and all of them are on a free or reduced-price lunch program. The students love to learn and are excited to come to school on a daily basis. The students come from low-income families who are struggling to make it at times. Anything that we can do to make the students have success and feel safe at school is the best thing for my students. The students will enjoy learning and coming to school and will have success.
My Project
Most of my students are ELL learners and all are our free or reduced-price lunch programs. The color ink will be used to print pictures of items so the students can see what the item is and make a connection to the vocabulary words. We will also use the ink to make books for the students to read in class and at home.
The color ink will also be used to make alphabet, number, and other flashcards.
The flashcards will allow the students to practice and review skills both at school and at home.
