My students are vivacious and learn best when engaged in cooperative learning activities. They are very animated and enjoy reading in pairs and discussing their books with partners. They are extremely excited about reading and eager to learn more about the world around them! They come from supportive families and are part of a community that values education.
My students believe in themselves and will grow up to be an important and productive part of society.

My Project
I want to give students, parents, and teachers an opportunity to make memories together that last a lifetime. We were planning to have a color fun run in the spring but it has been postponed until next year because of the early school closing. There are still some items we need for our run. We need more colored powder and squirt bottles, a decorative banner to create a photo opportunity for families, and friendship bracelets and goody bags for the kids.
Our kids deserve the best and we want to create an experience that will be unforgettable!
Our school is in a very rural area and there aren't events like this in close proximity so many students have never experienced the excitement and gratification from participating in a color run. This event will help strengthen partnerships between teachers, parents, students, and members of our community.
