Help me give my students university pennants and a calendar for college readiness and inspiration.

There are many reasons why my students are special, but the most important reason is that they are eager to beat the odds of their communities.
My current students are big dreamers.
Regardless of the things that are happening around them, they are excited to continue their education. Our school is nestled in the northern part of our city. My students are considered high risk to join gangs, drugs, and violence, but they are working hard to avoid being a part of negative statistics.
We are a Title I school where 100% of the students receive a free lunch. Every day, we work together to create an opportunity that will help build a strong and productive future for every student.
I have been collecting college pennants for years. Whenever I travel or hear of someone traveling to schools, I beg for them to bring me a pennant. I think they inspire students. It peaks their curiosity. If you decide to donate to this project, I will display these pennants around my classroom and in the hall around my room. The pennants will not only enhance our college prep school culture, but will allow some additional college research opportunity.
Many of my students are hesitant to look outside of our city for their college experience.
We need them to expand their options! There are a lot of decisions to make regarding college within the 4 years of high school. Those decisions get more difficult without support at home or someone in your personal life being able to "show you the ropes." As simple as this project is, it opens the door for my students to ask questions. Where's that school? Do they have a journalism program? How far is it from here? Asking these questions and getting the answers will help our kids start to see options they never knew existed.
Along with the pennants, I included a huge calendar to display important testing dates (ACT, SAT) and deadlines (FAFSA). I also requested whiteboard cleaner. Thank you in advance for your donation.
