I teach an English as a Second Language first grade class in a title one school in Sunset Park Brooklyn. The children have made tremendous growth as readers and writers this year. Now they are at a point where they are selecting their own books and choosing their own topics. They have worked on reading researching and writing nonfiction books. I would like to give them the opportunity to use beautiful papers of different patterns and textures to create collages to accompany their books. I would like ten pads of card stock pads. These pads have wonderful texture and rich colors that would really be a fantastic medium for children to create pictures to accompany their new found knowledge and display their collage of ideas.
