Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is composed of 41 dual language students, some of whom have IEP's. My school is a Title I school composed of approximately 450 students, of which 60% qualify for free and reduced lunch. My students enjoy movement, singing, dancing, and sharing. They are eager to learn and always come to school with a smile on their faces. My first grade classroom students participate in guided Reading/Math sessions, mini lessons, and other small group projects. We practice a balanced literacy model and students also take part in whole group language workshops.

My students need ECR4Kids Collaborative Dry Erase activity tables to promote an active learning environment of teamwork while is foster mathematical thinking within flexible seating.My students will benefit from the whiteboard tables and flex seating will allow the students to collaborate without the barrier of having the desk parameters.
Students will be able to sit close to help each other complete projects, assignments, and teach each other skills.
Tables will help make the collaborative learning environment more purposeful.
I have a classroom full of 41 energetic, wonderful and wiggly students!
I have an inclusive classroom with diverse students and learners. They come to school everyday ready to listen and learn. My students enjoy having the flexibility to choose where they would like to sit each day.
