My students need this HP Chromebook as we start our quest of acquiring our own set of classroom Chromebooks for our room. This Chromebook will be the catalyst in online collaboration for writing and analyzing texts!
My students are ready to bring English Language Arts to life by collaboratively annotating, analyzing, and critiquing texts, getting to the core of the text and author's purpose to appreciate literature and writing through technology.
I am ready to help my students dismiss the old-fashioned idea that literature is "boring".
Help me bring light to the enlightening art of ELA by helping fund my collaborative approach using Chromebooks in the classroom, where students can work through Google Suite to creative innovative techniques to approaching literature!
My Project
My plan is to have a classroom set of Chromebooks. Our awesome district is fantastic, but we are not yet 1:1 with technology. We have many Chromebook carts and a few labs; however, they have to be requested and signed out. I would love for our classroom to have our own set so I can design engaging activities and assessments every day of the week!
This requested HP Chromebook will be the catalyst to raising funds for more Chromebooks for our classroom.
Chromebooks will allow for students to use the Google Suite our district has purchased to its full advantage. Students will be able to interact with texts in ways they never have before and collaborate as they dig deep into the meaning and create products which showcase their skills and the content. These skills are pertinent to developing the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate!
