My Students

I have a classroom of third graders who come from several different cultures and backgrounds. They are a diverse group who thrive on hands-on activities and collaboration with peers. Every learning level and learning style is represented in my classroom. It is my hope to bring more technology and collaborative learning in the classroom. I want to cultivate an atmosphere of hands-on learning through science and technology. I want to build independence and confidence in every style of learner that is represented in my room.

My Project

This table and flexible seating would allow students to collaborate with their peers and work together in reading and math stations. It is my goal to unite all styles of learners and for them to build on each other’s strengths! We have a large classroom and desks. This table would allow my students to have group time with their peers. I would use it in a station rotation to where all students could utilize it. I believe that communication and group work are important and this table would help bring that to our classroom environment. My students love to partner read and work together. This would help encourage that spark!
