This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are fascinated they are able to write on their desks with Expo markers. They love to practice their spelling words, solve math problems and show each other different strategies using their markers. Writing directly on their desk can get messy. We are constantly using sanitizing wipes to get the black film off the desks. This table will provide a space for students to work collaboratively on assignments while writing on the dry erase whiteboard table.

Research shows students learn from their peers and grow from positive interaction.

The whiteboard table will provide my students with the opportunity to learn from each other and build positive interaction skills, developing their social skills for years to come.
